Shake me up Judy Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Beautiful picture that. Golf hasn't had a moment like this for a long time. Great for the sport and the Ryder Cup coming up this week. Quote
Mr. Sausages Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 The crowds following him up the 18th fairway were like an open championship in the 70s and 80s. He’ll definitely beat Sam Snead’s pga wins record now, probably not Nicklaus’ majors tally, but he’s still the greatest ever. Quote
Neil Down Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 can't wait for the Ryder Cup now... Quote

Chinahand Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 From his first victories to world dominance and then crashing down with hookers and substance abuse then the slow rebuilding blighted by injuries and surgery and now a return to form. He’s been emblematic of life for most of my adult life. To many more victories Tiger. Though you’ve probably had enough hookers, ok. 1 Quote
Mr. Sausages Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Didn't get to see it live, so just watched the highlights. He hasn't hit his driver this well since the early 2000s. Impressive stuff. Quote
Mr. Sausages Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 (edited) Tiger Woods has reportedly been offered and turned down $1billion to leave the PGA tour and play on the Saudi backed LIV tour. Phil Mickelson has gone, as has Dustin Johnson, Lee Westwood, Sergio Garcia and a few others. There’s no way Tiger would go as his legacy is his record number of PGA wins. Leaving would diminish that. But $1billion must have been tempting. Edited June 7, 2022 by Mr. Sausages Quote
