Won't get finished, will it? Does this mean City will keep the title for another year?

I’ve no idea, but if it means less soccer and rugby and cricket interfering with my normal TV diet it has to be good

At the moment the message is that the season will resume at some point in the future.  UEFA are looking at delaying the European Championships for a year which would mean the domestic season could run longer.

Does your TV just have BBC1, BBC2 and ITV or something? Most people have literally hundreds of channels of non-sport shit to watch if they want.

Why don’t they show the matches on those channels?

I’m a creature of habit.

Instead they dump them into the schedules cancelling my favourites. Fed up of missing Holly & Casualty ( that’s tongue in cheek )  because there’s 3 hours of rambling inarticulate punditry either side, and in the middle of, a 90 minute match.

Rarely watch anything other than BBC. If I had my way I’d go back to BBC 1&2 and ITV and ditch the rest.

Must get back to The Archers, and Moral Maze on R4.

Well that is pretty self-evident...

Even if the season does get completed it could be in empty stadiums and without a parade.  Hardly a way to celebrate a first league win in 30 (?) Years?

What about....... Run it on into next year and make it a double season 19/21? 76 games. Play each other 4 times. No overall financial loss for clubs. No pressure to finish in next couple of months. Everyone's a winner.

What about the promotion and relegation battles?  The teams trying to get promoted to the Premier League would lose out financially unless the Premier League clubs shared some money.

Like that's going to happen. The powers should look at this as a golden opportunity to shake things up. Instead of giving millions to premiership teams, start giving the money to grass root clubs.

Not for long. They've stopped filming those too now.
