It's clear the obvious option now is to cancel the season. The whole country is rapidly losing money, loved ones and patience and football is still arguing about whether to play a few more games so they don't have to give the TV money back.

Completely insensitive behaviour. Just wrap it up null and void and plan for a September start again.

not forgetting to give Liverpool a 25 point start...

Why should they get a 25 point head start?  No other league winner got to carry forward their winning margin to the next season.

Sorry, but if the decision is to cancel the season then Liverpool could be the most unlucky team ever.

They'd enjoy moaning about it for ever, I suppose.

1. Gerrard falling over

2. Global pandemic...

What's the next reason for Liverpool not winning the premiership going to be?  Asteroid strike? Alien invasion?

I'd take either of those to be honest.

I saw this picture earlier this week and it raised a smile....

That trophy has never been in the Anfield trophy room so how can it be their lost property?

When Liverpool last won the league it was the old division 1 trophy.

Oh... and those birds have balls.

Just pick up this season in September with the results counting to this season and next.

It’s really about time the pampered overpaid not living in the real world footballers took a pay cut or donate some of there vast salaries to show we are all in this together.

They have...  United players have donated 30% of their wages to the NHS.

United and City also donated money to local food banks and are looking at making their stadiums available to the NHS as well.

Chelsea have made their hotel available to NHS workers.

I am sure other clubs will be doing similar within their local communities.

Unless you are a Spurs or Newcastle player... Non playing staff told to take cuts but players haven't
