manxman1980 Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Masi has been removed from his post as Race Director. Verstappen will retain his title. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/formulaone Quote
war baby Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 That's the correct decision, I think. It was a most unfortunate and unsatisfactory ending to the exciting season, but they cannot now remove Max. It's good for us, because it means the battle continues. I am pleased Massey paid the price, his improvised set of rules were crazy. Good luck, George and Norris as well as Lewis. Quote
manxman1980 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 It is certainly an interesting decision and one which I think taints the outcome of last seasons Championship. It will almost be like an Asterix against Verstappen's first title win. I am not sure that is entirely satisfactory but given the time that has now passed it is virtually impossible to come to an entirely satisfactory outcome. 1 Quote

HeliX Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Christ I hope the McLaren improves. Very much enjoyed seeing Haas score points though. And not far off it being with both cars! 2 Quote

Kopek Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) I think he means Sharl . Nice to start the season off with a good race. Apparently Sergios' language was a bit fruity when he stopped!! Edited March 22, 2022 by Kopek Quote
HeliX Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Horrible crash for Mick yesterday. Glad the race was mostly safe. Strange performance difference between Rus and Ham. Quote

Strange performance difference between Rus and Ham. It was down to qualifying set up. Hamiltons pace was better in the race. Had it not been for the two cars breaking down then he may have had a points finish. Quote
