Had it not been for the two cars breaking down then he may have had a points finish. Not sure about that, George's fastest race lap was quicker than Lewis'. He did have a points finish though Quote
manxman1980 Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Yes, you are right he did but I meant a higher point finish. I think yesterday was another example of Hamiltons ability to race. Quote
war baby Posted March 28, 2022 Author Posted March 28, 2022 It was a good GP showing that the cars can run closely together. Well done George and to Lando who finished better than expected. Thanks also to Latifi and Schumacher who both totalled their cars as usual, thereby suitably bunching the field for a closer race. Quote
wrighty Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Is it too early to say it’s Ferarri’s year? Quote

war baby Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 The Spanish GP was entertaining... have a look if you have not yet seen it. An inspired drive by George, our future champion no doubt, including a wheel to wheel battle with Max. Also a great recovery effort from Hamilton after being clouted off by Magnusson and a brave effort from Lando who made 8th despite a bout of the squitters. Ugh! Quote

Yes, it's worth watching again but no way am I paying for a live subscription, Channel 4 catchup is fine for me. 1 Quote
war baby Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 I still kid myself that the vast Sky coverage is worth the vast sub... just about. It includes lots of other topics as well as the GP. I like Martin Brundle and Ted Kravitz, but 'Crofty' gets on my wick a bit. However, Natalie Pinkham in a good frock more than compensates. 1 Quote

war baby Posted June 4, 2022 Author Posted June 4, 2022 They should make him clear it up. He causes most of them (with help from Latifi). Quote
war baby Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 Making a belated comment, the Silverstone race was astonishing for a number of reasons, not least the impressive rescue and clear up after the huge crash. A miraculous survival. Now Austria... often exciting. Quote
war baby Posted July 11, 2022 Author Posted July 11, 2022 Another interesting race from Austria. I was pleased for the winner who seems like a good guy. George made a great recovery and MSC was driver of the day, deservedly. I seem to be chatting to myself again! Have you all switched off? Quote
