Tee Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Everybody's getting older as the years they pass on by The changing of the seasons, the colours of the sky The child becomes an adult in a blinking of an eye Soon they getting married, and friends they start to die Mother time is cruel she doesn't miss a beat Cannot walk that far now, "here granddad take a seat" A smile creeps on my face when I think back at what I have had Those times were good and sometimes hard, in all it was not bad The time has come to leave you now, I'm sorry but I must go Please don't be sad, we'll meet again, I love you, and this you know.
Observer Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Hey Tee, that's really touching - it reads really smoothly and comes full circle. Nice.
