It’s not a fact Its gone there on trial, with a view to a possible charter like I already said https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/ben-my-chree-to-be-trialled-on-isle-of-arran-route/ Edited October 28 by Tinpot

2112
I’m predicting that there will be teething issues with the Manxman once the Ben starts its charter, and between IOMG and the Steam Packet, management will be running around like headless chickens.

Then it comes back off charter, like it explains in the article and like has always been the cases with Steam Packet vessels on charter. Arrow always had an emergency 24 hour notice break clause in any charter, plus we’ve got Arrow for freight, anyway. Lets not forget, Arrow made more from the short sub charters than she cost the SPCo to charter long term.
Frances
That explains why the Ben was parked last night at the far end of the cruise ship floating platform at Liverpool - with a gangway connected and the side door open - maybe it also managed to confirm it could dock at the Liverpool Terminal 'just in case'

The headless chickens are all on here and are not down at the SPCo office.
