Minnie Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 I'm sat here in my leg warmers, jelly shoes, with my hair tied up in a fetching fluorescent yellow banana clip whilst learning the words to Wham's "Freedom" courtesy of Smash Hits magazine...........are you saying I'm not cool anymore??? Milli Vanilli deceiving me...........how???? Wham have broken up........when????
Cret Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 And I'm sat here thinking what a coincidence it is that after changing my avatar to a Max Headroom one last friday, someone else has got one within the last 24 hours too. They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I sup, sup, sup, sup, suppose...
Trinity 23 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 I did used to love my 'Frankie says Relax' t-shirt, especially my big thick belt... *shudders* and then there was that lovely high quiff that I used a ton of Insette hairspray to hold up... Yeah, thank funk the eighties are gone... I refuse to wear stiletoes this time round too...

Lucy Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 I like looking at all the 16 year old pram face girls walking round in 80s gear, thinking they look retro, when they just look bloody stupid. Prime example was the fine specimen from yesterday morning with regulation blue eyeliner. Mmm, nice.
