french Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Okay, here's an easy one... It's a book and a film. Two words. Ensnare two football teams. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could it be Catch 22? Not sure why I think that.
Guest Rox Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Possibly because there are 11 players in each team making a total of 22, and to 'ensnare' means also to catch? Sounds reasonable enough to me anyway.

jagman Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Checkout. Is there a programme called Checkout? Wrong. I was thinking of Banacek.
MrsTrellisfromNorthWales Posted August 17, 2004 Author Posted August 17, 2004 Apologies to Jagman over Bancek. I'd never heard of it. Found this synopsis though: BANACEK is a Boston-based Polish/American freelance insurance investigator whom insurance companies turn to when their own investigations have failed. They don't make 'em like they used to, do they? Sounds terrific. I wonder why it was dropped in 1974. Your turn, John.
