I claim the shortest working distance to travel to my place of work (excluding the self employed who work at home or from their vehicle)

 

87 metres.

 

And yes, I bought the house because of it.

I used to be almost as close to my work.  Trouble is, you don't have much time to 'wind-down' on the way home.

 

The other pain is that I'm always late! I lived in Foxdale for a couple of months 2 years ago and I was always 20 minutes early then.

Live & work in Douglas and get a mile or so each way walking to work & back every day.

 

Doesn't stop me being a chubby bastad though sadly! <_<

I lived 25 metres from what could have been considered my place of work...Now i live far away!
