  1. Enter the Dragon, one of my favorite all time films, and the more it ages the better it becomes. Propert seventies feel to it.

Also Slumdog Millionaire, caught it by chance, and really enjoyed it. Shame its not a true story though!

  2. Watched "In Bruges" last night expecting absolutly nothing from it as i am not a massive Colin Farell fan, but he proved me so wrong.

An excellent dark comedy, drama & thriller that works on so many levels.

If you know nothing about it, you may start out wondering where it is going as it is rather a slow pace, but if you stick with it the film just grows on you, and even the missus agreed it was the best film we have seen in a good year.

    Fully recommended.

  3. went to see The Incredible Hulk last night, and thought it was fooooking awsome!

Good to see it back on track now, after the god awful Ang Lee attempt.

Good dialogue, well paced Ed Norton is his usual miserable self, and the animation is well done!

  4. watched "little miss sunshine" last nite and was surprised by how good it was, some laugh out load moments ( the final scenes at the beauty pagent were cringe worthy )...well worth a watch if you're looking for some light comedy, the star of the film is definately the little girl.

I watched this a couple of weeks ago, mainly because i adore Steve Carell, and like Greg Kinear also, and thought it was such a good film. You kinda know how it pans out, but its such a nice film, and the bits with "DAD" in it are hysterical.

  5. On the flip side, I watched The Condemned recently and although it's a cheesy, predictable romp, it's not trying to be anything but that and doesn't dress itself up in any other way. It's not going to stretch your brain but as a low budget action flick, it's actually not that bad. The wrestler does a pretty good job, and it's actually the best performance I've seen from Vinnie Jones in any film, he's a pretty legit tough guy these days.

Pretty much sums the film up for me too, very simple beat em' up movie, with crappy one liners. If you wanna pop corn film its a must.

Last film i saw was 28 weeks Later, which surprised me cause i really enjoyed it. I thought it wouldn't be a patch on the first one considering hardly anyone from the original was involved, but its a good yarn, and left it wide open for a good sequel.
