I had the pleasure of meeting the two wonderful, caring ladies who have started this Pet Food Pantry last year when I was looking after someone’s horses.

Not only do they care for their own animals, but they care for everyone else’s and also work as health care workers round the clock. I don’t think they get much sleep!

In my eyes, they are saints. Such kindness and compassion should be honoured and I am so thankful that they are helping the people on the island who have come in to troubled times.
