Good question, I don't have the answer but I would have thought that if you don't get off at the first arrival point then you haven't finished your journey and only need to pay the APD to the final destination. No doubt someone will be along shortly to

There are too many sh1t hospitality businesses on the rock, for the population.
End of argument
Be nice if the government bloat was addressed though. Might be a cheaper place to live for everyone

I saw on Twitter many months ago about a Chinese gaming company in Athol St having issues because people had lied about university degrees on immigration applications.
We attract filthy industry and it is bound to have a number of bad apples.
But nobody knows what's going on here so speculation probably not helpful.
I know exactly what's going on, and it would not help anyone bringing it into the public domain just now, whilst investigations are ongoing.

Gambling isn't a reliable/safe industry to build your economy on. Who'd a thunk it?
This investigation isn't anything to do with gambling. The allegations are very serious though.

Someone has just posted on Facebook under a 3fm article about the arrest that that their mother was murdered. So it's probably not the time for wild specution as there is a grieving family
The very definition of speculation.

They mention the onboarding of new clients... I'm actually amazed anyone managed to open an account with them.
I've had an account with them for almost 40 years, last year I wanted to open an additional account and was told there was a 6 month waiting list/processing time...during the process they managed to lose copies of my documents...
Currently looking for a new bank.
Told us six month too. That was to open another business account. We already had one with them for several years

Loganair altering schedules today.
2 flights to LHR on a Saturday and Sunday one the website now (but both within a couple of hours of each other which is a odd). Weekday departure brought forward to just before 10am.
LCY remains, which is a little bit of a surprise too.
Few other changes to MAN timings
LCY isn't a surprise though. IOM Govt put pressure on LM to keep LCY in place. Don't be surprised if there's some ' incentive' in place from somewhere or other.

I'm not surprised there is a shortfall the whole place is crawling with management !
Is it though? What’s the split of ‘shop floor’ staff and ‘office based management’ ? Not disagreeing with you, you’re most likely correct, but I’ve never seen an actual breakdown.

Loganair have cancelled Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham so far today.
Easyjet operated their Gatwick service earlier.
Good that the airport is open.
Thank God we've still got easyJet. LOL

Do you mean the officers or do you mean non-officers or catering, retail, customer service? Chances are they all have their own arrangements.
I wondered if one HR department paid them all, if so, under which jurisdiction.

So, without sifting through the whole thread, have I go this right?
Because Michelle isn't named on Doug's Trust Company, she doesn't need to declare any interest.
....but, because the PPE equipment was not up to spec, Medpro are in breach of contract, so should pay the monies back?

Had a vegi burger in Vibe, it was bloody lovely.

I do not agree. I think she should continue, and name everyone else involved in this - preferably providing emails, voice messages etc.
Especially the email where she informed everybody she should’ve done that she was involved in Medpro.

That rumour has been around for a while, but it makes a lot of sense and I hope it happens.
LCY has been poorly run by Loganair, with frequent cancellations, and few passengers. Those facts are probably closely connected.
A better schedule to LHR should open up both better connectivity to BA, and better point to point options.
But are slots available?
It’s not a rumour. It’s just when not if.

London City likely scrapped in 2024. In its place, double daily LHR.
