Just read that they are still trying to sort out what rent we will pay. Rent? I thought we had paid enough.

None of you have any idea of the risks involved in this particular incident until its made public.

It's just a further sign of the lack of concern for other folk. Me, me, me and ballcocks to the feelings of others. So there!!

sounds about right!

News says they have released on bail the folk they arrested?
Isn't there a likelehood of them just disapearing or trying to manipulate possible evidence?
-
I can operate them but they do seem to fail too frequently.
I also prefer to have a cashier checking out my purchases.
I am not happy about a large organisation manipulating their sytems to save money using my free, forced services.
That's all.

I honestly can't see that the weather is any worse or better than previous years. IBut, I can remember snow over the mountain on April the 8th in 1998 though.

20 cars damaged yesterday. Wonder why they packed them on the upper car decks whn there was, apparently, room on the main car deck for most of them?
We were lucky, we changed our yesterday's booking to Sunday and only got rockin' and rollin' for the latter part of the journey, phew.

Yes Alby, that's why we changed from the cat on Friday to the Big boat on Thursday.

Is it standard practice for a ship to leave harbour and shelter at sea during a storm?
I thought harbours were intended as a safe haven from the depradations of a stormy sea?

Can't wait to see these going up the Ballakillowey Road!
Couldn't happen here. There are only six folk and no clip boards or other official hazards, ie, H and S etc.

Whilst £100k is clearly a lot of money it’s certainly not a lot for senior / thought leaders in the AI space. They may get someone on a part time basis for the money but the chances of them getting someone full time is I think very minimal.
A thought leader? Jeez, real big brother or is that just gobbledy gook speak?

The exact conversation I was having on Sunday with someone from around there. The level of personal security the Island offers is pretty much unparalleled. That's why it could be a real HNW enclave if the airport had a few upgrades. A tax cap policy focused on paying in via investment, 1hr flight from London has a lot of plusses.
Arguments to be had on 'trickle down' but rich people tend to drive improvements. Or at least they do if the local government doesn't passively resist them.
Often though, the,'improvements', seem to be anything but. More likely they want to, and often achieve, changing their part of the island into a little England enclave?...maybe.

does the supposed housing problem really make such a difference? Just sounds like an excuse to me as they realise that the lack of services and their conition that is the real reason.
