Just received notification from Loganair that they've cancelled my Birmingham flight on a Thursday in November. Haven't checked but presumably this will be all winter when there's no flight that day
-
Currently doing 31.9kn
Seems to have been fixed.
Fuck all comms from the steam packet about the last two days

has the capacity act been given royal assent ?

Sailing info has been updated.
Manannan crossing time today is 3 hrs 30 mins.
Tomorrow it says 3hr 15.
They should inform passengers when they anticipate fixing the problem

May well have been discussed but I walked past Rios today and there's a sign saying closed for refurbishment. Seems to have been closed a while, anyone know what the script is?

In that case state there are "reporting restrictions"

It’s pretty clear. SPCo had anticipated being off the landing stage in April. For whatever reason they aren’t. New operators, in anticipation of the SPCo not using it agreed someone else could use it. SPCo will be on a day by day or week by week extension.
looks that way

Reservation system for Friday and Saturday has been updated.
Depart: 06:45 Arrive: 10:15
Depart: 11:30 Arrive: 15:00
Depart: 16:15 Arrive: 19:45
Depart: 21:00 Arrive: 00:30
Last weekend it was just over 2 hrs 30 mins. A rarity.
Noteworthy because that's what it was when they first got it.
Shambolic that they timetable it at 2 hrs 45 now. Let alone the revised timetable of 3 hrs 30.

Oh, and the Rendezvous lounge now has a permanent "Due to staffing shortages..."sign on the window, and
is looking a bit tumbleweedy inside.

Freight will be pretty static in numbers, ie retailers know what they need not bringing shit over that ain't needed. To increase freight we have to buy more and we are buying less to try and save a few sheckle's, so unless the economy is stimulated by an increased population
