For Every High....
So they go to Clatterbridge for the first time and lets just say that it wasn't what you might call one of our best experiences. NHS conveyor belt took over and they were rushed from pillar to post by people who may be in the top percentile of medical skill and prowess but need to take lessons in the meaning of the words 'customer support'. I know people who have had really positive experience of this hospital, but there was little evidence of it on monday's visit. I wont bore you with the details, those of you who are still awake may wish to watch something on tv later. Suffice to say that when I go next time I will be alert, prepared and will have applied to borrow that most effective of all weapons - the manxforums bullxxxx detector!
I want you to know that, in the interests of society, I am working hard on reasonable, compromise and calm deliberation. As opposed to my alter-ego who has given up on mere chocolates and has become seriously unhinged, bad-tempered and says the first thing that comes into her fevered brain! It is very very hard indeed to stay calm when your child is suffering a crisis and you are powerless to do anything about the situation. Best beloved returned with serious headaches from the strain of hanging in there being reasonable. Just as well that's his middle name, unlike mine which is 'Mrs Bitch to you, poopyhead'
In the interests of balance we have received a call today from someone fairly senior on the case there, putting right the situation, but you see - the damage has been done.... So, get ready for another exciting episode in this tale of.....stuff that happened when my kid got sick B)
