Funnies

I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing I had a camera to hand to catch all of those funny moments that happen in life. Well today, I managed to do just that afer vowing to always have my camera to hand after missing too many of them.To set the story, I was glancing out of the window at work and noticed an ambulance parked outside (not that unusual I guess, it's often parked up in Parliament Street. What made it different this time was the fact that a fixed penalty ticket had been attached to the windscreen and a WPC just happened to be standing in front of it. This seemed like too good an opportunity to miss so I grabbed the camera and fired off a couple of snaps (below). The WPC in question then proceeded to walk towards me so I had to ask if the ticket was genuine to which she replied "yes".Heh, made me smile but I guess the driver of the ambulance would have been rather ashen faced on her return to the vehicle!

I thought the same thing a couple of years ago. I thought that my problems were solved when I bought a camera phone but it's not that great. Instead, I always keep a disposable camera in my draw. Just in case!
