At least give me some of your reasoning. What was predictable? That he'd win the millions was never in doubt, the film is afterall called Slumdog Millionaire! I watched Slundog Millionaire last night convinced before hand that it wouldn't be my bag.....what a fantastic film!! A real eye opener as to the terrible conditions which some people have to live in, it made me appriciate everything I have just that little bit more. The only disappointment for me was it ended too soon. As for being predictable, as Slim pointed out, the title says it all !!

Finally got round to watching Mamma mia the other day....omg what a load of crap. To all those people who told me it was hilarious and they could watch it over and over again....are you mad? I can only assume the actors must have been paid an extortionate amount of money to humiliate themselves to such a degree!

The old Nobles Park playground with the witches hat and the helter skelter........a health and safety nightmare!!! And buying Choc Mads from the kiosk...mmmmm!!

Ah the Police Treat....that takes me back! I remember being able to watch the rock being made in a shop in Castle Street...was it called Gores??? I also used to love going into Blacks(??) the pet shop on Victoria Street next to Gellings Foundry which I think is somewhere near where MT building is now, they used to have cages full of kittens and puppies and a parrot that shouted at you! I remember there were loads of amusement arcades throughout the main shopping area and a cafe called the Golden Egg(??), I also was taken, as a birthday treat, to the Mayflower chinese in Castle Street, it was sooo exotic!!

Watched "Run fat boy, run" the other night. Thought it was one of those films where there are 2 or 3 laugh out loud moments but the rest of the film was disappointing!

Watched "I now prenounce you Chuck and Larry" last week and nearly wet myself laughing. Had to watch it again the next night with the hubbie and still couldnt stop chuckling!!
