Following the Treasury Take Over of the Steam Packet, does anyone else think the management team installed is becoming less and less experienced and skilled at running a Commercial Ferry Operator?
Are the Treasury/Gov trashing our National Carrier? Would it be best Served if it were to become a PLC and listed on the Stock Market? There's too much interference from people who don't know what their doing. It's becoming a Political Football. And a Government down the line is going to attempt full political Takeover. Were going to end up with a Manx CalMac.
In my opinion, it's in the best interests of everyone if Government reduce their involvement to a small stake. To ensure it can't become an Investment Funds Pension Pot again. But they should not, and in my opinion, cannot run our Steam Packet.
Make it the Steam Packet Plc and get Woodward out of retirement before it goes too far.
