Why, when the majority of the population have mobile phones and use email do Manx care send out appointment letters at great cost? Would it not make more sense to ask patients how they would like to contacted? I am sure the majority would opt for digital communication. Reminders could be sent automatically thus reducing missed appointments and the few who required letters could easily be dealt with. Huge cost savings and more efficient. Simples...
