  1. But the point is why should we have to involve other forms of technology to remedy a problem with another form of technology.Whether it be Android, Apple or Microsoft, one decision by a faceless individual could block access to anything.

    Funny Jokes

Little Johnny catches his parents going at it. He yells to his dad, "Hey, dad! What are you doing?" His father says, "Son, I'm er, filling your mother's tank." Johnny replies, "Wow, she must go through a lot of stuff, cos the postman only filled her this morning."
  3. And £4m could go a long way to re-educate drivers that when approaching a junction that they reduce their speed and put the car into a gear that allows them to control the car and stop safely if required to do so, which is what you have to do to pass your test is it not? Not only would this solve the problem at QB but would have an impact at all junctions around the Island! Does "20 accidents at the junction, mainly slight and damage only" justify a scheme of this grandeur when one solution which does not seem to have been looked at with this and many other schemes is education. You could stand a bobby on the roundabouts for an awful long time for £4m, I'm sure that after a few people were 're-educated' by the police that the message would soon get across.
  4. I was once told by a DOT worker that the red and white bollard thingies are there to allow pedestrians to cross the road without being endangered by traffic when waiting to cross the second carriageway. And he wasn't leaning on a shovel at the time so it must be true. And verified by the minister of transport on manx Radio last Friday! How about we use a similar solution to this, only change the wording slightly?
  5. How about just building circular roads turning the Island into one big roundabout? I agree with WSAG, remove those red and white lego bricks.

    Teeth

My wo children were brought up on milk and water with very limited access to cordials and fizzy drinks. Both were encouraged and helped with the task of cleaning their teeth until they got into the habit. Now in their late teens/ early twenties both have, according to the dentist "exceptional teeth" no fillings or other problems. Not brought up on flouridated water either, so is there a corrolation between 'Parental Responsibility' and good teeth?
