Glen Road, Ballaugh - Horse Flies and Midgies?

A friend of mine has been offered a rental property on Glen Road in Ballaugh and i was wondering if anyone lives round there who could say what the horse flies and midges are like? It's pretty close to the stream if that makes any difference. I know Glen Auldyn has a bit of a reputation for biting critters and was wondering if its the same here. Thanks in advance.
