  3. I'm obviously in the wrong business yes you are, apparently that,s the going rate for a 3 bed detached.. Bollocks i,ll just put up with it.or maybe go back to a coal fire we did not have any moss in those day,s,i,m told the sulphur in coal smoke kills the moss. Good move, having someone in big boots walking all over your roof spraying it with a high pressure jet of water will have 3 results, first you will have a moss free roof, secondly you will now have some broken/cracked concrete roof tiles that you cant spot from the ground and finally the water jet will of penetrated the underfelt in places causing leaks in heavy rain/snow. Just had a great idea,if i throw bread and other food scraps onto my roof all the Peel shitehawks will fly in and during the ensuing feeding frenzy all the moss will be dislodged and fall to earth, peel will be shite hawk free and i will have a clean roof apart from gull shit which will wash away with the rain, bit like killing two birds with one stone

Yeah, I don't think it'll do any harm anyway, is it just on the north side of your roof or do you have trees or something giving shade? What kind of tiles do you have? We have concrete tiles so the moss can get a grip on it, on old fashioned slate tiles that was not possible.

  7. Have just had a quote for removing moss of my roof .....£800 . Stuff that
  8. You don't have to be that clever to get moss off a roof. yes i know,i just don,t want to break my neck ,i would rather have it done by ppl with the correct equipment, also you need to use a special spray to prevent it from returning
  9. I am gradually getting a thick carpet of moss on my roof, some people say it does no harm but i,m not so sure, can anyone advise me of a good firm that will remove this eye sore, Yes there is such a word as rooves, its not used as much these day,s i just thought i would get that in before the clever dicks start
