  1. I've been recommended engineered wood flooring rather than laminate, it's sort of the same principle but it's "real" wood (sort of) I think it's about £20 per sq m. so possibly a little pricier than laminate.
  2. Yup - a market of 80,000 people with little other choice. I think some people stop frequenting places such as The Palace Cinema, because the facilities just aren't up to scratch. Agreed, I love going to the Cinema but I never go over here because it's grotty, too hot, too small, smelly and generally shit.
  3. I wonder how far they could build it with the 40m for the runway instead? If we could get it most of the way they could put a ramp at the end and we could all jump for it?
  4. Watched The Invasion & The Brave one over the weekend. Both good, Invasion is modern take of Invasion of the body snatchers. The brave one is a bit slow to get into but is pretty good too, it's briefly got Sayid from lost in it.
  5. In some cases I can see the one car thing working but not all, just because someone has two cars doesn't mean they drive them both at the same time (that would be entertaining), maybe they have a dirty great landrover to tow something heavy but because they are reasonably enviromentally aware they also have a little 1.0 citroen for daily commuting, why should they be penalised heavily for having two cars when only one is used on the road at a time?
  6. or you pay a large premium if you have a justifiable reason for having two...funds to go in to development of public transport system..... If we can keep the helicopter, jetpack and hoverboard you've got yourself a deal.
  7. Motorbikes = the way ahead No more congestion (unless it becomes like india ) And no parking problems! Shall I take my consultancy fee now?
  8. Meh, I thought it was OK, not as good as the original but certainly watchable, although having a fitting epileptic as the cameraman wasn't such a good directorial choice, it gave me a fucking headache to watch it. Any film that has the best zombie scything scene since Brain Dead gets a thumbs up from me! As with the first one I found it interesting seeing London empty and having the Isle of Dogs as a camp was cool!
  9. Congrats on the bike test.

  10. Sunshine, pretty good film, bit far fetched and the missus didn't like it but I thought it was good, also interesting to learn that *SPOILER WARNING* you can survive in space (for a very short space of time) with no suit on and suffer no long lasting side effects, I was always under the impression that a Total Recall style body exploding would happen the instant you were depressurised.
