Hi Barbara,
I had so wanted to come down on Sunday to Port Erin to watch your swimming exploits , however I had done one of those 'you're actually supposed to be somewhere else' things and was one of the crispy ones on Peel beach with the Living Hope family.
Well done for Sunday, its a big step (even if you are not already a little shy of the water ) so congratulations, you'll remember it for ages.
I've not really met Vicar Norma, but totally agree with you about Bishop Robert, he is a sound, hardworking and approachable guy with an excellent sense of humour.
