Sheesh - it was in fact my goodself and a lady friend enjoying a gentle perambulation in your fine Northern town. Thanks Mish...yep, she does have a throaty note to her. Just hope she passes the Manx test with that sporty silencer and fluttery BOV. I know it's wrong to worship an inanimate thing, but she's as close to a pneumatic blonde as I'm likely to get these days (i.e. a pain in the ass most of the time, a real handful, but when she's good she's AWESOME). I really enjoyed it. I think Adrian Cain did a great job - given that the phrases he used were probably O'Grady catchphrases 'suggested' by the producer, and that Lenny Henry clearly and wilfully misunderstood that his spot was over and that he should be quiet - rather than muscle in and take the mickey out of Manx Gaelic. You can take the 'ham' out of Birmingham... I quite like Paul O'Grady - he seems a genuine sort, and he talked fondly of holidays in Douglas. Saw him live once as Lily Savage and it was hilarious.

Yeah - it's about as close to running as I ever plan to get! I'm just ballast...sorry...co-driver for David Mylchreest. Never done any rallying before so am quite looking forward to it, although everybody says I should take some sick bags... There'll be no winners or losers it seems. Except we'll beat Phil Braidwood, and nothing else matters.
