bluenose 52 Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 I have to honestly say having hated football all my life and never seen a live league game let alone watched on on TV I have only heard is name but havn't a clue who he is I can honestly say having hated reality TV since it's conception and never watched it live or recorded, I can't get away from that chav Jade fucking Goody. The fact that you can't even glimpse at a newspaper headline or turn on the news for seeing her, and yet Sir Bobby Robson ( who has raised thousands for research for the disease ) goes largely unreported as he's not 'celeb' enough. I knew he'd had cancer, but was unaware it had returned til I read this link - which is pretty sad. But hey, let's all concentrate on the person who became famous for being a clueless chav who shows up modern britain for the race of imbeciles it is. Never mind the nice man who had a good career, managed the national team, knighted, and is a really nice bloke. Now that really is fucked up. I certainly agree with you about Sir Bobby, great man indeed, and I also agree with you about reality TV but to slag Jade Goody is a bit off, she is a product of people with a nose for making money and she herself made a fair bit and why not, the public today follow the celebs with fervour, gods knows why but there you go and she has gone along with the gravy train, and dont forget she is only in her twenties with 2 young children, so if she can get more money out of the media for the security of her kids then good luck to her. It's commendable that she's trying to secure the best education for her kids ( something she must never have had herself ), but it's not like they're going to be left to fend for themsleves is it? Their father will be there even if the vermin looking bloke she's going to marry today will be gone in a flash with as much cash he can carry in his hoody pocket. Lots of women die every year from cervical Cancer. Yes, her case has highlighted this and I believe that smear tests have increased by something like 20% due to this publicity. Which is a positive. But women who are dieing of it don't get on the telephone to Max Clifford asking for interview deals to secure money for their kids do they? I'm not arguing, just want to put my view across.
