The guy has been arrested under the terrorism act, and a controlled explosion has taken place on a suitcase he appears to have left on the apron of the complex.(where the planes are parked) Just been out for a ciggie no planes leaving the airport at present. matty Posted September 26, 2005 Share Posted September 26, 2005 My wife & I were stuck on the runway at Ronaldsway for an hour (10am flight to Manchester), finally arrived around 12, spent not too long witing for baggage. We had to go through the airport to get to the hotel, and it was pretty much chaos, - very busy queues for departure and check-in. Glad we weren't at Manchester any earlier.
