Amadeus
Racing post tipping up Cavendish for today's stage from Auray to Saint Brieuc - poss. bunch sprint at the end. Was 14/1 which looks like value - might be worth keeping any eye on throughout the tour... Still, if they simply used motorbikes, it'd' be way quicker and more fun to watch... ponderer
So the video on the official tour de france website video of Cav's amazing Stage 5 Cholet - Châteauroux victory refers to him as "the Englishman"...! http://www.letour.fr/2008/TDF/LIVE/us/500/videos.html He's now regarded as one of if not THE fastest sprinter in the world. Its a great opportunity to put the Island on the map - but obviously this cannot be taken for granted. Shouldn't there be some visible public recognition on the Island of this amazing achievement? Statue? Building named after him? An award? Any suggestions?
