  1. Gavsta - having recognition problems!
  2. Hmmm, you must be time travelling as I said hello to someone called Dave in the street at lunchtime today, yet have no recollection of doing so yesterday morning. Odd.
  3. Sorry dude didn't see you. In mitigation though did you expect me to notice anything at 8.30am?! Stu Peters went past me on the way home tonight in his rather nice Lotus. The rotter.
  4. Cheers mate. No more toys for me though now!
  5. Aye - we were trying to run you over but Stu missed. Looked like you were enjoying yerself anyway and there was no room on board cos of all the fish we caught.
  6. You like that do you eh? eh?
  7. Liberalis, at the grandstand ce soir. Jolly nice chap it would seem.
  8. I think he did! Rhumsaa seems to be getting down this way a little to often recently,. Doh! How did I not see that. It's my Mr Sparkle tshirt. It's grubby now so I'll have to get another.
  9. I spotted Rhumsaa this evening but I don't think he saw me...
  10. Shut yer cakehole boy!!
  11. I know dude. I'm a bit shy though.
  12. Ahh. The peril of going in the Bay before going in the bay...
  13. As long as the swimming back to shore is haphazard enough to reach dry land.
  14. Sorry old boy. I was going make a cross sign as I wandered past but my mrs would have thought I'd been hitting up the crack pipe or something. Do I take it from that you got a wee bit submerged then? We used to do the race for the prebuilt ones where we'd spend ages plotting advanced raft design for yonks, then end up bodging stuff together the day before after daydreaming away the time to make a decent vessel.
  15. Nothing should stretch to Santon! A few years since I've participated in the raft race. A right good laugh though as you say. I was trying to get out in the boat today seeing as it was so nice but strangely the myriads of people who usually say "When am I going to get to come out on your boat?" all were saying things like "I'm tired", or "I've got a few bits I have to do this avvy, I'll come out next time" so I didn't get to go out in the end. Cheeky fuckers.
  16. Spotted Rhumsaa outside the Bay in Port Erin this avvy. He looked like he was primed & ready for some raft racing shenanigans as me & the mrs walked past with our pal.
  17. Agreed. And yes it is expensive but I only go there on Tuesdays as a meatball sub is sub of the day & therefore £2. At £2 I'd say it's actually very good value when compared to say a sarnie from Boots/M&S, or a burger from McShytes, and tastes a zillion times better than the alternatives. In addition - calorie wise a 6" meatball sub is about 440 calories which compares to something like 700-750 calories for a three pack of sarnies from marksies or boots so not quite the evil people might make it out to be. I might have to make a cross sign next time I see Rhumsaa though seeing as he's clearly a proper badass, and one to be wary of....
  18. I usually raise an eyebrow slightly in acknowledgement, but you looked cross today so I didn't make a big effort. Besides - I thought you would recognise me after FM tried to trip me up in M&S that time. Sure you do. I understand.
  19. I saw Rhumsaa twice at lunchtime. Once going past Chrystals in Victoria Street, then about half an hour later as I emerged from Subway he walked in. I notice that as he went past, he fixed my subway bag with a steely gaze as if possibly thinking to himself "He looks cool, I'll ask what he ordered and get the same myself". Perhaps. For the record, it was the tastiest 6" meatball I've ever scoffed, but by far the messiest. It's a good job I didn't get the footlong as my beard would not have been able to harbour the amount of debris generated!
  20. Not quite - you just did! Maybe YOU'RE keyboarder!
  21. I watched Rambo3 last night and predictably it was just as good as last time I saw it. Roll on Rambo4 - "My horlicks is cold and I'm mad".
  22. As severely pissed posts go dude that's one of the most coherent & sensible I've seen. Mine are normally much worse.
  23. I saw jim driving somewhere. At least I think it was today, not yesterday....
