  1. So did I :) My Swedish friends have started playing again so I got a free 10 day pass, I doubt I will get back into it, its just so...kill 200 of this thing, run around here for 3 hours, get one shotted by a level 910...the pet battle thing is quite fun though, not worth the WoW subs though.

  2. Wonder what? I'm only 40 odd and I know all about the electrical problem suggestion, I've no doubt stuff was covered up (in the best interest of the Isle of Man innit? bunch of c's) but it happens the world over, it is the nature of the human of power I guess.

  3. I am fully aware I am on a vehicle, I'm a little old lady slim, I don't have all the lycra pants and the go faster t-shirts, I just wear a skirt and t-shirt, works fine - I don't go zooming about the place I just potter along, I could easily get off and walk (Although I did get into super fast gear the other day, for a short period). Is it OK to walk with a bike on the pavement? You couldn't really take a car on the pavement though, could you? It's not dangerous unless people are inconsiderate, which is something I find most cyclists on the roads to be - yer a bloody menace.

  4.

That peel road bit, just stand your ground, the cars will have to wait.

As a car driver, that statement is all I hate about cycles. I'm pretty handy on my bike but I still wouldn't ride on Peel road at the moment, the road is too thin. There's plenty of room on the pavement and during the time I was on it I did not pass one pedestrian.

  5. Well actually as a cycle person (I've been out on it once) I have to tell you it is quite annoying. The police are making a big noise about people on bikes on pavements, I am a grown up, I am fairly proficient on a cycle and was wearing a helmet....I still went on the pavement along Peel Road because the cars would have been way too close & the pavement was much safer - bloody nuisance.

  6. In light of the story from America about those girls who had been kept prisoner for years, I think they should do their best whatever the cost - keeps them busy doing proper police work innit? The McCanns were stupid to leave their child alone but neither they nor the child deserved what happened. If the police have leads and are going to bust child porn/trafficking rings, all good, go get em. If they find Madeline, that is a bonus. I'm not sure why the police are publicising this, I don't know much about child porn rings but I'd imagine they'd go to ground if they thought the police were onto them.

  7. Cancelled my sub 2 days ago, I've got a month or 2 left of this game time so I might have a go....but I doubt it, WoW is rubbish now.....says the woman who plays balloons tower defence 5 ....

  8. I've been asked if we have a social worker, I accept that they have to ask this question and am happy to answer. Why wouldn't you be? Having a social worker involved with your family is not a bad thing, there are many people who NEED one who do not. The fact that social workers are helping a family is a positive thing, surely? My little friend was in care and his social worker was really nice & very good at his job.

  9. Shocked to be asked series of questions by the triage nurse not related to the minor injury, WTF do they need to know if you all live together? for example.

Pfft thats nothing, my son had munched on some laxatives and the doctor asked if I was concerned about his weight - errrr what you sayin like?

  10. Catch up will you? It's called DLA (disability living allowance) and it would not be awarded for ADHD alone. There would be other underlying problems, possibly exacerbated by the ADHD, such as ODD, OCD, ASD, GDD, SPLD etc., etc.

I've just spat my tea, brilliant. :)
