It's always possible to have oral health problems, even with the best of brushing/flossing/whatever routines. No one's suggesting that parents don't have a responsibility for their child's teeth, but it's important to have easy and free access to a dentist should problems arise.

  3. Diana was my princess of hearts, and now that heart has been broken! Curse you foxtrotlima! Curse you and your new television, Diana will never watch TV ever again, because she's dead and has been eaten by worms. *sobs*
  4. This Is England - Wasn't expecting much from this film, but was very pleasantly surprised. The reviews did pick up the flaws in it, however, they also called out that it rose above those mistakes to stake its claim as a seriously good film. Wins bonus points from me for decent Northern accents (although I'm Lancashire rather than Yorkshire), but mainly for managing to genuinely portray a believable understanding of where skinheads came from and how someone might become a part of them. It's not a sympathetic portrayal, but it does have a crack at understanding it. Moreover, Stephen Graham's performance is dangerously brilliant, it's possibly the best "insane" characterisation I've ever seen. Seek out British films everyone, we're really quite good at it! http://www.reelviews.net/movies/t/this_england.html
  5. I just "spotted" foxtrotlima although that wasn't much of an achievement since she was in our house buying a telly at the time. She brought me a Curly-Wurly and a tin of pop, which I am drinking now as a nice little afternoon treat.
  6. Watched "London To Brighton" last night. Not exactly a cheery little flick, but bloody good. HMV are knocking it out for tuppence* at the moment, highly recommended. http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProduct...&sku=614368 *£5.99
  7. I think I saw Rhumsaa earlier today, driving around dear old Ramsey on R plates, dunno if the R plates belong to him or are simply attached to the car he was driving at the time. (I'm not even 100% sure it was Rhumsaa, but there was some definite Rhumsaa-esque beard action going on.)
  8. Did I make any kind of sense? You caught me at the arse end of a double vodka and red bull session Nice to chat though, as best as I can recall
