Role Playing Games (general)

Hi all,

 

I've set up this board as a general chat for those interested in 'pen & paper' or 'tabletop' role playing games.

 

I moved here is June last year, and I've been playing tabletop RPG's for about 5 years. These mainly include Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) 3rd (and v.3.5) edition and the White Wolf games such as Vampire: The Masquerade and Hunter: The Reckoning, which some of you may know as popular computer games.

 

Since I moved here, I haven't yet found anyone who is interested in tabletop RPG's like myself. Does anyone else have an interest?

 

N.B. It can be any RPG - not just the ones I mentioned. I'm also interested in learning about new ones.

I thought that the Games Workshop was mainly for things like Warhammer?

 

Do they do pen & paper games as well? If so, where can I find them?

This is my most ambitious piece of thread necromancy yet. 

I'm a yearling GM, looking to find new players on the island, I've seen a few similar posts on this forum, though this is certainly the oldest so far!

Wondering if you're still interested, or ever found a group?

I've just arrived over here and I've been playing RPGs for nearly 20 years. I'd be happy to join in with a gaming group if people are interested.
