I missed the original but from the looks of things this looks like it could be pretty interesting, I think they're going with a F2P model...but I like the idea of 1000's of people on the same server all battling for control. http://www.planetside2.com/ they're taking on beta signups now as well... I've been playing a few hours most evenings and it's improved greatly over the Beta. Still a few little niggles but for the size and scope of the game it's brilliant... Plus....IT'S FREE!
