bilbo
Any updates on peoples actual throughput on this 200mbps service, are you getting the bandwidth, is it worth it?
dooahhdoo
Absolutely. I'm with Sure and pay £38 a month. Sync'd at 250Mb down and 22Mb up. Two kids streaming youtube, netflix, amazon video but still get Steam updates 18-20 MBytes/sec. I'm very happy with the service.

dilligaf
But aren’t you all still using MT’s cables ?
bilbo
Yes we are, hopefully someone who has them as their isp can post their stats. I sync between 180 and 186 depending on line conditions, seamless rate adaption is nice. 175 mbps max throughput which is not bad. I think I am about 350 - 400 metres away from the fibre cabinet. (Sure) No point posting my stats from MT, as I am only on the El Cheapo 40mbs. Good enough for what we use.

joeyconcrete
Resurrecting an old topic. Opted to ditch my Technicolor DGA4130 in favour of the new Fritzbox 7590. Despite supporting supervectoring/VDSL profile 35b (200Mbps+), the router only appears to be negotiating 17a (100Mbps), even with the latest firmware. Anyone else using the Fritzbox 7590?
