  1. The first time I've ever been interested in football and I had to watch the game until the end just in case one of them scored a goal and decided to rip her top off to celebrate...
  2. It would appear to be open and operating now which is quite good I suppose because I believe Castle Rushen High School are going there on Thursday for a school trip. http://www.camelotthemepark.co.uk/
  3. Maybe he has secret desires about a lot of gay men being held in his closet...
  4. Okay, you got me on that one. Not a great deal I can say about all that now is there. I've heard something about Canal Street but I think that was on here some time ago when someone posted a picture of the street sign and the letter 'C' had been crossed through. I'll admit that it took me about five minutes to figure out why it was so much more amusing to others and why I couldn't get passed the obvious schoolboy humour. I think I eventually made the connection after Google enlightened me to the reputation.
  5. I don't suppose that you'd have much of a chance to pull in there. Perhaps you should consider being in Guys and Dolls to 'end the night'
  6. And and car stickers with slogans like "I got felt at the Manx Museum!" and stuff?
  7. Will there be a gift shop selling felt place mats and maps or the island where felt has been produced etc?
  8. Then how could the site still be contaminated with asbestos?
  9. I'm not quite sure I understand how that can happen if the building was demolished by a contractor. Presumably the contractor would have had prior knowledge about the asbestos and would have been licensed for the removal of asbestos / demolition involving asbestos and the clearing of any asbestos contamination subsequently left on the site?
  10. Yes, we were in there but we were pretending not to notice you.
  11. The nunchucky guy was brilliant. I'm still laughing!
  12. That'll be those funny little lycra shorts cutting off the circulation on your chubby little legs...
  13. Next time the bumper falls off, just give me a shout and I'll stick it back together for nothing!
  14. How does T.I.N.G. know what colour furniture Pat Ayres has got?
  15. No, he probably guessed because of the rumour that you've got a little willy.
  16. I dunno, I've been to a few 'Hotels' that also charge by the hour!
  17. Of course it's always wise to use caution with plans like this but there are no real reasons to be defeatists just yet. There's no need to kick someone when they're down and this is their opportunity to try and recover some dignity and respect. Good luck to them and I hope that they manage to make something good for everyone on the island to enjoy. Fuck it up and boy are they in for a shit load of hell
  18. As opposed to the beautifully landscaped area of outstanding natural beauty which exists there now? I think the point here is quite clear. Someone has taken an interest at possibly developing the site with hopefully an entertainment complex for the island. Of course things can change or go wrong but to take the attitude that is being adopted on this thread before anything has really even been agreed is a typical 'moan about it because nothing has been done and then moan about it because someone wants to do something good with it' soupuss attitude. It's their £30 million, it's their tender, it's their proposal and they could always decide against it after doing their investigations. Give them a chance to put something forward with the view to obtaining the lease. Would it make you happier if it was just left to rot rather than let someone come up with a possible proposal that might, just might benefit everyone on the island?
  19. I could see lots of things not being built if they had to put the options out for public consultation every time they had someone interested in building something. If a private developer wants public opinion then I'm sure they'd ask for it but if it aint your £30 million why the fuck should they ask you what you think they should be spending it on?
  20. Why bother electing people to make these decisions for us huh!
  21. This was a tender and not a popularity contest with the general public. How would you be able to decide what was better for the island or not when you would only be deciding that based on your own opinion.
  22. Don't worry, you can still wear your Tutu for either of them.
  23. Ohhh hey, now you are just too smart for me mate. Busted
  24. No, I was the one in the milk float with the bottle and a pocket full of stones.... D'oh!
  25. Drove passed John Faragher being all pervy outside Mrs Bees house yesterday, I think he might be stalking her
