  1. I put into ChatGPT. Here’s what it said in response:

Finding the equilibrium between passion and reason in politics is indeed intricate, navigating the tension between preserving societal fabric and addressing frustrations with incompetence. It's intriguing how the younger generation often senses the need for change more acutely, even without articulating specific policies, challenging established ideals in this evolving era.

  2. I’m glad I wasn’t in the pub with you.

I don’t think 3D printers really exist. I know people who claim to own one, and they make little plastic things with them, but how the fuck is that possible? I’m sure it’s just joke that a few people are in on, seeing how long they can make people think they “printed” all these things at home, and didn’t just buy them on eBay. There’s probably a website or Reddit page dedicated to this prank. I’m not falling for it.

£1500 fine. That’ll really teach the twat.

Probably not.  When running for MHK he wanted to ban a religion, criticised the government for being “gay”, and wanted to sack doctors (and anyone else) earning £100k.  I doubt he’s ever learnt anything.

  4. The entire forum should be just one thread. Every thread is either about something on the Isle of Man, or reflects the view or interests of someone with a connection to the Isle of Man. No need for multiple threads. They’re all connected.

Maybe google the guys name then come back and comment

Lol, this is exactly why the press need to report all these cases. I never knew about this guy before Amadeus’ post. Fascinating to know there are people like that about. I love this sort of gossip. Best thing is when they have Facebook profiles.

  6. As technology has developed in recent years, most jobs now involve sitting at desks. Generally people are less active than they used to be, and leading relatively sedentary lives compared to previous generations. This has affected human evolution.  As a species we require less leverage from our limbs, and as a result human legs are getting shorter. The average height is increasing however, which means body proportions are changing. Furniture also needs to change to  adapt to the new average body proportions, hence the need for modern benches. There’s an interesting article about this, which highlights the dangers of using old benches :
