  1. I've just noticed Google's top suggestion on . Rofl @ the irony.
  2. Incidentally, don't Greenlight produce videos FOR Duke? Somebody's just shown me a TT dvd case from 2002, and it clearly states on the back, and I quote: "A Greenlight Television production 2002 for Duke"
  3. Ah yes censorship, you're very clever, quite handsome too, and oops, there I go again. I'll lie down and feel free to stick the boot in. However, my error is of little consequence or even much relevance to this thread. It's still an official video, whoever it was produced by, and although it had Duke plastered all over it, and I shouldn't have assumed it was anything to do with them, it doesn't alter the fact that I wouldn't be a road racer, or that it's a fine line between death and a bootless hobble to survival. You're just being picky really. As is your wont.
  4. Do you just make up lies or are you an idiot? I have the 2010 Southern 100 DVD in my hand and it says it is a Greenlight production for S100 MCRC Ltd (the club whcih organises the event). Duke's only mention is for designing the sleeve. Just had a quick look, and the same appeared on the 2009 DVD. I'll get back to you on that one.
  5. Oh per-lease, what a bunch of hypocritical Jessies! This is not a link to MY video. It's a Duke Marketing video, which for the right to exclusively produce they presumably paid a handsome sum. And it is clearly what they consider to be what the fans want to see. They even slow it right down for us to truly savour the moment! I don't see what the problem is myself.
  6. That's probably the real issue. However, to be fair to Amadeus, English isn't his first language and although he clearly has an excellent grasp of it, I suspect the nuance of the original post was lost on him.
  7. I don't understand what you're implying here? A ban? For not wanting to be a road racer? Let's just be clear about my link - it isn't some ghoul's luckily captured incident, posted up on you tube to stir up a little controversy. It would appear to have been uploaded by Duke Video - an official partner of island road racing, and seemingly to maximise sales of one of their products. Here's the accompanying description: "During the Supersport 600cc race of the Southern 100 2011, there was an incident involving 2 rider's, Dan Sayle and Dave Taylor, on the approach to the 'Bombhole' or 'Billown Dip' section of the course. You can see that from the impact, one of Dan Sayle's boots was blown clean off and following the crash, his remaining boot has almost been completely removed too. Furthermore, keep an eye out in the background for the spectator who manages to perform a superman dive of epic proportions in order to avoid the incident! Luckily, the rider's injuries were not life threatening, and the marshals and response team were as quick as ever to respond and help the competitors following the incident. A marshal, who was struck by one of the machines, received a leg injury, but will thankfully make a full recovery. Long live road racing!" Make of that what you will, but it doesn't seem in any better taste than my post. I realise that you, as someone who likes to promote their road racing photography site around the boards, has more to gain from racing than me, but it seems a bit off to subsequently try and stifle debate on such a divisive topic by threats of bans. If that is what it was, of course.
  8. Not for me thanks. Tis a fine line between death and a bootless hobble over the road.
  9. Would you have any misgivings about plucking the fillings from rotting corpses?
  10. Manx nationalism isn't worrying. It's rather quaint and a bit silly. I've never met an intelligent nationalist.
  11. That was always going to fail as a policy. Afghanistan's landlocked.
  12. You've got to hand it to God. He doesn't do things by halves.
  13. He probably works at Ballamona.
