I spotted Cheeky Boy in his van on Friday...well when I say spotted, he was chatting to me about my car.....should probably have introduced myself!

Just got round to wathin REC on dvd.....pretty good spanish horror with a creepy ending....

or indeed spend any part of the night.

Sounds to me like its contaminated with bullshit....

Its probably a bit over the top, but its a grim ending....certainly makes for discussion afterwards....the rest of the film is pretty run of the mill.

I watched The Mist at the weekend....a pretty average horror flick with some good moments and real kick in the bollox ending.... 7/10 (of which 3 of those points were for the ending!!)

God some people love to moan dont they....its hardly a wonder people are reluctant to stick their heads above the parapet.

how about we worry about the car parking once the thing is built.... park on the prom, park elsewhere and walk, maybe they will have a shuttle service from the cinema car park....who cares...just build it already.

....and that lurvely aroma that resides there in the summertime..... It gets my vote though...lets hope they manage to pull it off.

Finally watched Taxi to the dark side over the weekend...thoroughly compelling viewing. Pulls no punches against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeldt and importantly Gonzales in the redifining of the word torture in the Constitution....McCain's role in the whole saga shouldnt be overlooked either....

The lease was up for sale on the Marine a little while back and I guess no-one took it up....I was close! Doesnt quite know whether its a pub or a restaraunt and misses the mark on both. Terminus is a fave spot for me these days...but as said above it gets busy quickly!

I finally got round to watching No Country for Old Men on DVD at the weekend..... Interesting watch with a grim ending. Shotgun with a silencer ftw Great performace from Tommy Lee Jones and a sinister Javier Bardem 9/10

How about finding ways to cut the numebr of cars using that area...some suggestions Congestion Charging Hiking up road tax Developing park and ride facilities in the Cooil roundabout area De-Douglasify (!) businesses Sometime taking Mohammed to the mountain is the overlooked option!!

The red and white lane dividers were gone this morning! don't tell them it was me!!! I got a letter from the DoT last night asking for my opinions as a "property close to the proposed works".....now where shall I start!

To my mind there are three main problems at the QB 1. Those ridiculous bollards obstruct the view 2. People arrive to quick in to the junction, particularly from the Peel going in to Fire Station direction which is further compounded by lack of visibility as above 3. Drivers are unable to use round about (despite the amount of practice that one gets these days on IOM roads!!!) So if the DoT want to give me the £4million I will glady remove the bollards and pocket the difference.....numpties!!!
