  1. " Replying to Manx Nationalism Is Worrying" Manx Mafia-ism is far more worrying than Manx Nationalism can ever be. The Manx breed of greed is in a league of its own. Greed with a nasty, nasty twist....
  2. I would have thought the Sefon Group should consider doing something with the Castle Mona Hotel first. Or have we all forgotten about that one? Perhaps a druggie is being sought to burn it down or something. You know how these things tend to go.
  3. If you are in the Rovers, it is best to assume that everyone is on manxforums. I saw ya.
  4. Was that Rhumsaa strolling along Douglas Promenade this afternoon . . . .
  5. Actually I would like to know who all owned Manx Airlines. Whoever they were, the fuckers got a fortune selling the slots at Heathrow. There is a very good argument that the slots actually belong to The Isle of Man rather than the company who used them. No doubt some smart arse will come on here and call me a cunt, but I'll accept that once I'm told who the fat cats were who sold us out. The airline system has been a bag of shit since Manx Airlines took the money and ran. Fucked off with a right haul. Sorry to go off topic, but I think anyone will find quite a few parallels here. The nucleii of which are a shower of greedy twats.
  6. Rhumsaa. In the pub at lunchtime. Again.
  7. BBC Radio 4 Play Piper Alpha Tomorrow, Saturday 17th January, 2:30 pm
  8. Nice blog entry Tom. Nice one mate!
  9. I spotted Cheeky Boy in Tescos, eying up the fresh fish counter rather sardonically before shuffling away. It looked alright to me but if it ain't good enough for him I'd rather leave it to another day.
  10. Thanks for the tips! I'm off to test a few of them out, right now. Apparently rhubarb is a vegetable but a US court ruled in 1947 that it is a fruit (in the US)
  11. To say that the Dogs was full of druggies is inaccurate by todays standards, even in it's latter years it was only a few dope smokers and the autumn mushroom trippers Not a "Druggie Pub" as we would understand it today Yes, yes, I understand the druggies thing, but did the girls spit?
  12. Yes, druggies and girls that spit
  13. Isn't there still 'legally' a public right of way goes through Marks & Spencer? There was a public road. Then buildings got demolished. Then the area got used as a car park, Then the car park (or 'waste ground') got sold. Bit of a bastard really because there is, I am lead to believe, still a public road / right of way, runs through it. But aye, the dogs was good and any reincarnation will be a bonus to the bland pub life in Douglas just noo.
  14. Saw Rhumsaa in the Rovers last week some lunchtime

The poor little darlings need to be sucking on a can of coke 2 or 3 times a day it seems, so yes you are right, we cannot expect them to give that up, now can we?. Not without a right royal tantrum anyway. Now, how about YOU giving your kiddie winks a special type of Coke or pop, that has a good dose of naturally occurring flouridie in it, eh. You are happy. Your children will be happy, and I will be over the moon. It is about time our young mothers/parents were made to learn simple responsible parenting skills, although in many cases it would be less than a decade since they themselves were children who had not been taught how to look after themselves. And so it goes on. Maybe you're right. Flouridate the water and stuff the consequences.
