Isle of Man was due to hold in 2027 but due to the last games being cancelled due to covid, the hosts have basically been shuffled down with isle of man ending with 2029 hosts.

impossible as I am sure the DOI Minister stated that there would not do work on the arterial roads into Douglas while the Mountain road was shut

Did the DOI Minister not say they would be mindful of undertaking work on roads in and around Douglas while the Mountain Road was shut. That obviously does not apply the the 100s of extra vehicles using the promenade to get access to and from the coast road to Ramsey. Isle of Man where you can!

Strange they are continuing with the planning application at what must a be great cost. Also strange how those who were staning up and saying what a wonderful development for Douglas have been quiet ever since. Then again now we can see why !
