  1. Seemingly the most appropriate contributor to make the post...
  2. Yes I read the article watched the video and read the companion article in the IOM Examiner. I find it shocking that the island is still in this situation contrary to what was being said last year, that is that the situation would be solved late last year. It now seems to sound like full resolution is a long way off. And if we couldn't beleive what we were told last year, can we believe what is being said now?
  3. https://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/flight-disruption-warning-as-isle-of-man-airport-left-fragile-by-staff-shortages-667670 Wow.....
  4. Does anybody know what happened on Friday night. The pilot said there was no warning that the airport was closed..
  5. https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/iom-airport-remains-under-caa-enforcement-notice/ Wow. What exactly does this mean?
  6. I fear that so much will depend as much if not more on who is on the interview panel, than who applies.
  7. Doing a bit of research Roger, does it not seem a bit strange that if the UK are in charge, that the Isle of Man branch have produced their own rules? https://www.gov.im/categories/business-and-industries/civil-aviation-administration-caa/document-library/caa-publications-and-forms/
  8. Does anyone know who actually signs Ronaldsway off? Is it the UK agency or the Isle of man Caa?
  9. British Island Airways anyone?
  10. In the what else can possibly go wrong department. Fire engines appear to be attending what looks like a disabled Boeing on the middle of the runway
  11. I heard him say that too on the live stream. I thought I'd misheard. But presumably no one in either house saw fit to question it. It's quoted in the paper today too. If only hansard or listen again were available.... But on the basis of what we both heard, as did. the members, they still. voted it through 😬
  12. West Ireland (Knock) Airport is, and has CAT2
