They only wasted time doing it because it was made a press issue. It’s a low speed road and the holes were easily avoided by anyone with eyes in their head. There was no need to fix it at all until they got round to doing it properly. Of course when they do do it properly, all the same people moaning about eh potholes on a road nobody should be doing more than 15mph on, will be moaning about he disruption

Agreed. Some of the best memories I have are standing on a stage in front of a few thousand people and getting their positive reaction to what I was doing. I would love to see more kids encouraged to learn a musical instrument. It’s a brilliant life skill that you can take anywhere.

Just install an ad blocked. Very simple and makes the “issue” go away here and on any other website you use. Hardly worth a moan when there are so many quick and easy solutions

It makes perfect sense. Its not problem that you try and read things that aren’t there. It’s a very simple sentence. How you managed to draw a conclusion from it that wasn’t in any way suggested or implied is quite the mystery.

What? I never said it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I just pointed out that allegations that the process was corrupt were complete none. Anyone with a brain can see that’s true in a world of FOI, social media and more public scrutiny than has ever been before. How you think that statement disqualifies the one that I have never worked for government is beyond me. Are you having a weekend on drugs that impact your ability to understand stuff?

Wow Fortunately I have never had to use any, but I am glad they are there for the people who need them. What about dental care for people who drink fizzy drinks? Are you blind. Or do you just not get out much? There is noticeably more work getting done around the island in the last couple of years, and the quality of the work has improved. Unfortunately due to budgets and work force they obviously can’t do the whole island at once and some roads just don’t justify the cost of a fresh surface.

Why would you report potholes to Onchan Commissioners and expect run to do anything about it? That is like me saying Manx telecom too two years to fix my electricity meter
