    This is a most unedifying spectacle i must say.

    I think it would have been a bit fairer to let it finish under the safety car, rather than gift it to the guy that was overtaken at the start and never had the pace all race. Too late now, i think it actually could be quite good for hamiltons legacy to accept this defeat graciously. Which he has.

    There really is no need to be so negative. Not to mention unnecessarily vulgar on a sunday evening. I think this scheme deserves a fair chance.

    Don't mind having 3rd jab, not having 4th or 5th. I'll have the sixth and 7th, not having the 8th not sure about the 9th. Said it at the start and i'm sticking to it, it's not let me down so far

    Like i say, it's over now anyway. It will certainly make for some interesting restarts next year if the 2nd placed car is now allowed to sit alongside on the racing line.

    I agree. Masi basically became kingmaker and chose max. Lewis didn't put a foot wrong and didn't stand a chance. That said, i think mercedes should let it go now

    Too late now, it's confirmed as a max victory. The FIA had a get out opportunity to reverse it, but decided not to penalise max for overtaking under the safety car. Once that was decided, there was no chance they would rule against themselves.

    This is what i find confusing. The uk government don't want people wearing masks or doing other mitigations but at the same time they don't want to be held responsible for the results. So this os what happens every time. They rely on people like you nom de plume, taking the nudge and running with it. You are actually doing their bidding for them, i think you also maybe already realise this.
