Exactly. The trickle down effect benefits lots of areas. Government can rightfully be abused over many things but they've done a very good job over the last ten or so years getting eGaming to where it is.

Actually what needs to happen is exactly what happened 25 to 30 years ago as far as children in late education are concerned. They need to set their sights and education towards where the work is. Twenty five or so years ago that was banking and finance. Now it is IT and eGaming. There are opportunities for those people if they do that. You could have had the same discussion 80 years ago when people needed to aim their education at tourism, farming or construction perhaps.

In theory, on an island (or any town I guess), I suppose any business can leave tomorrow. The reality of course is that they don't. In the case of eGaming operations are actually expanding here (and expanding to here) because the base here is providing the right kind of support to their business. There is a misconception around it only being only a tax play which simply isn't true.

The electric bikes are a project. I don't see much credibility on winning a one lap event that has a field of about ten but only one team with any resources to get the bike round in a competitive manner. If the field was twenty or thirty, over several laps and competitive I'd be more inclined to think the win had real standing. Although respect to the boys that fire them round at very decent speeds.
