  1. Whenever we came to Douglas as a kid to go shopping (which I don't think was that regular an occasion) the Dog's Home was the extent of my old man's "shopping"
  2. But look what time it is.
  3. Has permission actually been granted?
  4. That's a nonsense and bordeline racist statement.
  5. So what happened on the day then?
  6. The police statement seems sensible and fair enough. Wouldn't surprise me if too many of the people involved in running it are simply too caught up in this sense of entitlement to do what they want when they want rather than work with the police. Perhaps they'll see sense next year.
  7. I think on the whole the police do ok. It's a tough job at the best of times. I would concede though that your point about the drug fella who died in police custody should be followed up by the police to explain what they are doing about it. Derek said several months ago it wasn't possible at the moment but there has to come a time and surely enough time has passed to digest the report etc
  8. Probably right. Fair few in Castletown too.
  9. Trump seems to be doing just fine really.
  10. I think you underestimate him.
  11. Plenty to be positive about Ramsey. Most of the negative comments come from clueless people.
  12. A good point well made.
  13. Nowhere touches Wadmans in Ramsey. Epic
  14. That's a real talent you have there. No, honestly it is.
  15. John has put LC in his/her place. We should leave it at that
  16. He's made it clear himself and has a picture of himself as his avatar.
  17. I had a toodle up north today (mooragh park was looking great and very busy) and thought I saw you Rhumsaa. In a Smart car but I could have been mistaken.
  18. I'm not sure what you are after. A bit of very basic research shows how many are signed up. I've helped you. And you are contradicting yourself. You slag them off by saying they are doing something they don't understand then slag them off for handing over the design and implementation to someone who does. In already said the fault lies with senior management and they need to pick up the phone clearly and get the external party in hand. I don't see how they are really throwing money at it. It isn't a huge cost project and will have paid for itself comfortably. So if they can push it and develop it further it makes good money. The idea is fine. Local people supporting local business. Who knew eh?
  19. The people (externally) who designed the website are at fault in my opinion and need to sort it out by the look of it . Probably too busy trying to charge more for something that should have been done correctly in the first place. You have to scroll down to the bottom of the listings. There about forty signed up. Which will no doubt mean that it's more than paid for itself but looking at it someone in senior management should be on the phone to the website developer telling them to get it sorted.
  20. It's really quite unimaginable what the family have been through. It's sad to read what he says. Clearly the system has issues. Whether that fossil Moffatt should be points scoring is another matter. Personally given the entire picture presented so far Kitching looks way beyond redemption.
  21. £20k (* 2) a week for a tug to be on standby isn't realistic or accurate.
  22. Those two sentences don't belong together.
