Well here it’s been wonderful. The Hand in Hand pub has a beer hatch and is selling lovely IPA and other great keg and cask ales in 2 pint milk cartons. Lots of curry houses in the same areas doing takeaways etc. lots of riff raff having fun. Cushtie.

Well it’s kind of a disease but a pretty nasty one that kills with no discrimination and you really do not want to catch it. On the other hand you can cower under the stairs or just carry on with life and hope fate is on your side. Of course fate is only on your side for so long. We should all be given our choice and not restricted by fear if we are happy to accept the risk. Those you disagree you have under the stair.

I’ll be giving shops a miss unless I need food. But will be giving all other shops , pubs , restaurants etc a total miss whilst this police state control thing persists. Why on earth would you want to bother , so I won’t. Doubt I’m alone. I’m no even back there yet and even where I am is more relaxed than Stasi IOM.

So really the reality is no one has any idea whatsoever. I don’t mind that but maybe those that think they do should just say ‘ sorry , we don’t really know how this will pan out , we can guess based on modeling that may or not be accurate based on data that may or not be accurate using computer programmers that may be cutting edge or still using FORTRAN ‘.

Totally agree , if any of the crew had it then it’s spread to the passengers anyway. Kinda shows how dumb the rules are. Air crew are key workers so exposed and at risk all the time as opposed to those who have been hunkered down endlessly and flying in. But that’s just too logical.

It’s is quite simple really. An island Jail , people will leave , one way . Like people in the NHS , carehomes etc. Iom would be fucked , just don’t get it . Me? Abandon island pronto.

I agree. I think Manx Radio consistently punches above its weight on what is pretty much a shoestring budget. Critics need to be careful what they wish for.

I quite like Manx Radio. Keeps me in touch and the like. But I do wish they would dump the multiple presenter thing. DJ’s should fly largely solo. If they can’t they are in the wrong job. And they do have some very good presenters.
