  1. Real tears the reporter said reporting her death with the video. I knew nothing about her. I don’t know how it’s possible to cry tears on demand but some can.
  2. Haven’t your manx mates invited you over for the loud and proud event at the villa tonite. The MLP have advertised it on Facebook.
  3. Attack! Attack! Attack! Steve, your time is shorter than that of Satans. Would you like to live in North Korea having to worship Kim Jong Un? You might just yet get to live a life experience similar to that.
  4. https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/island-needs-bishop-who-is-visible-in-manx-community/ The above press release suggested anyone was welcome to air their views. Those that did attend gave reasonable input with regard to other faiths. I agree with the mission to try to reach the young but I guess not everyone would agree with that. You will never get this world believing one belief.
  5. Highly unlikely. If their two MHK’s were Christians they would know that God appoints governments (Romans 13.1) and not the electorate. Interestingly they both put down education as their main priorities in the last election, maybe their Biblical education is that poor.
  6. Why won’t Mr Wright admit it. Is he lgbt too and likes the God hating on here?
  7. Marxism is non-religious, that sentence just suggests the MLP founders were Christians. It looks like the current MLP are not otherwise they would have attended the recent meetings regarding the new bishop, I never heard their opinion on it voiced there.
  8. I worked out you’re a Snake Pliskin fan from your other forum. Think about inviting/joining up with someone like that, or Rick Grimes for when the alcohol and other substances become unavailable. Revelation says you can get drunk on blood apparently.
  9. That quote was taken from Wikipedia. It said various churches so I assume all the denominations that were around a century ago. I don’t think there’s ever been any sectarian violence on the island, they seem to get on together peacefully as the whole church should.
  10. I am sorry to say you are completely clueless and likely to be walking around in a drunken haze when the Tribulation gets under way.
  11. So it’s because a handful of newly elected MHK’s don’t like the Christian ethos in Tynwald as this is inconvenient to them? The majority of the public didn’t vote for anyone judging by the last election stats. But the majority have also let the government know they are Christians at the last census. I’ve read nothing said at the recent two public meetings deciding the new Bishop about him not having a seat in government, if anything quite the opposite was said.
  12. Out of interest how many of the island’s electorate do you believe reads this forum? I have tried to gauge it by monitoring the ‘who’s online’ stat at the bottom of the home page. It rarely tops 300 and quite a few of the active posters sound like they live off island. It also makes sense to me the ‘guests’ browsing will more or less be the same people. Overall, I doubt you are speaking to more than 300 of the islands 85,000 population, how can so few force a change? Less of the population will probably vote at the next election but even that won’t provoke a change.
  13. Come on, their two MHK’s look well inside their thirties. But are they aware The Manx Labour Party had its roots in the Chartist movement on the Isle of Man, the union movement, various reforming organisations such as the Manx Reform League, and a culture of debating societies and self-education societies focused around the Island's various churches.
  14. No not officially but it’s born out of the same movement and one can imagine the current leadership being influenced watching Tony Blair on national tv.
  15. I don’t know, I find politics as dull as dish water both here and abroad and follow it sparingly. Joney is labour isn’t she? Does she know why Blair decided to announce, like an emperor, that he wanted everybody to have a job in his last year in charge, a decade after he took up office. This is how negligent, incompetent and self serving politicians are in this modern world.
