  1. Decided to make one big topic instead of smaller ones. Will keep any questions in here from now on. If anyone has any others feel free to add to the thread. Lets try and answer the the previous one though before a new one is posted to save confusion. Ok to kick off lets have this one. Name the only player who has played in the Milan, North London, Merseyside, and the Tyne-Tees derbies ?
  2. Been holding off on The Bourne Ultimatum until I got my big telly. Watched it the other night and thought it was a good finale to a surprisingly good action trilogy.
  3. Had this on Sky+ and eventually watched it last night. Total agreement, Andrew Garfield's performance was quite brilliant. Very close to the knuckle with the bulger murderers getting released soon. Great script and gave me mixed emotions about something I never really thought would.
  4. Yep another vote for The Prestige. Great film with a good intriguing plot that keeps you guessing to the end.
  5. Cheers Chopsticks, I think i will get that this weekend. Looks a good gritty film.
  6. I watched A Good Year last night starring Russel Crowe and directed by Ridley Scott. Definately a different film for Ridley Scott, a kind of stylish romantic comedy. Crowe was on fine form and I think it showed he loved making this film. Premise of the film is that Crowe is a high powered broker in London who has just found out his Uncle who he used to stay with has died and has left him his run down estate and vinyard in Provence. I wasnt expecting much but found myself really enjoying this film. 8/10
  7. Watched The Departed last night, thought is was good without being great. I was hoping for a modern day Goodfellas but unfortunately it didnt deliver on that score. The acting, especially Jack Nicholson was great, the story had enough to keep me interested but I just didnt think it went far enough for a film that lasts 2 1/2 hours. Dont get me wrong it was very enjoyable and well worth a watch if you havent seen it but Goodfellas is by far the superior film.
  8. I watched Little Miss Sunshine last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
