Alternatively:

 

Add some dried rosemary and two unpeeled bulbs of garlic to a pan with some olive oil and get it nice and hot

Add your steak and cook as suggested by Cambon, few minutes each side only turning once.

On the last minute add a generous knob of butter and spoon this over the steak. Adding the butter only for the last minute prevents it burning and tasting nasty.

Leave the steak to rest on a plate for at least 3-4 minutes

 

Eat it !! ;)

Get some kebab meat cut into fine strips mix with salad and peppers put on a plate top with a few thick cut chips covered in cheese and gravy, then tell her its a local delicacy. This may work if you first get her to drink a 2 ltr bottle of woggawogga vintage sharaz but make sure its the plastic corked variety as the screw top as a boquette like an aborigines armpit and should only be used for hand to hand combat. :thumbsup:
